11. Service disclaimer

Internet connectivity is provided over the Starlink satellite network, which is owned and operated by a third party (Space Exploration Technologies Corp.). While the Starlink Mini typically delivers 50–150 Mbps, we do not guarantee any particular speed, latency, coverage, or uninterrupted availability, and we are not liable for network outages, degradation, or Starlink service changes beyond our control. A clear, unobstructed view of the sky is required for the service to work.

No refunds or credits are given for Starlink network outages, degraded performance, or lack of coverage at your location — these are outside our control and are part of the risk you accept when renting satellite equipment.

12. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with a rental is limited to the total rental and shipping fees you paid for that booking, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including loss of income, business, or data) arising from use of, or inability to use, the Equipment or the Starlink service.

Nothing in this Agreement limits any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are renting for business purposes, you agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply, as permitted by section 43 of that Act.

13. Privacy

We collect your name, contact details, delivery address, and payment information to process your booking, deliver and recover the Equipment, and meet our legal obligations. Payment card details are handled by our payment provider (Stripe) and are not stored by us. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and do not sell it to third parties.
